On September 5, 2011, the president of our club, Dietmar Hopp, inaugurated an athletics court for players of teams of the flagship club in Baden. With this athletics court which is complemented by a hill specifically built for training purposes, our club has broken new ground in terms of training the motoric and athletics skills of young and competitive players; it has been inspired by the renowned Titleist Performance Institute. Our club now offers all you need for your training during the entire year: Floodlit artificial turf which is divided into three fields, complemented by three scaffoldings as well as a hill with a height of four metres and three different types of stairs for improving the players' muscle power and coordination. This range of training opportunities for our top golfers, which is unique in Germany, is round off by a weights room in the adjacent building.
Of course, this brand-new facility may not only be used by our top players but also by members and guests of St. Leon-Rot Golf Club. For this is where the swing analysis system GASP is located; St. Leon-Rot offers four such systems by now. A SAM-PuttLab Studio is also located in the athletics court.
